Extended family session

Summer seems to be the time of year for family get togethers and extended family sessions!

When I asked this group about a preferred location, the Saskatoon Meewasin trail is a place where they have taken many family walks, including a family proposal 20 years ago!

When it comes to what to wear with large groups it's best to keep it to a few coordinating colors like blue, grey and pink like this family. Best to stay away from labels and crazy patterns.

This family was so much fun to work with. Candace and I actually go way back, over 10 years ago when we both worked for the Saskatoon Public School system. It's always an honor to photograph extended family sessions, plus her parents were celebrating 50 YEARS! She mentioned that their family had never had professional photos done. I was glad to have captured this special anniversary and their families memories!
